Manufacturing Journey

Vernel works continuously along its entire value chain to improve its ecological footprint, effectively contributing to Henkel's sustainability strategy.

A sharp increase in CO2 in the atmosphere leads to a warming of the planet and is the main cause of global climate change. Unless lifestyles and economic strategies around the world are adapted, the average global temperature could rise significantly by the end of this century – with serious consequences

Our sustainability strategy

Vernel works continuously along its entire value chain to improve its ecological footprint, effectively contributing to Henkel's sustainability strategy.

At corporate level, Henkel focuses on the efficient use of resources, reducing the energy consumption of its global operations and limiting greenhouse gas emissions. In addition, Henkel has committed itself to becoming a climate-positive company by 2040.
