Enzymes

Enzymes are real breakers. They help preventing pilling by smoothening the surface of a textile. Small fibre fibrilles, caused by mechanical stress such as wearing and washing, are removed.

Good to know

Enzymes are bio-based cleaning agents. They are powerful ingredients that work as catalysts, so that each molecule works more than once. Enzymes can help preventing the visible signs of daily mechanical stress on textiles. One of the enzymes is Cellulase, which smoothens the textile and provides color care, whiteness and anti-pilling. Regardless of their concentration, enzymes must be listed on the packaging according to the EU Detergents Regulation.

How do we use enzymes?

We use a variety of enzymes to avoid pilling and grey scale on textile surfaces. Cold-active enzymes, additionally, help remove stains already at low washing temperatures such as 20 or 30 °C.

  • Sustainability is the key

We take great care to ensure that our packaging is functional and recyclable. Our bottles are recyclable after removing the sleeve and our bottle bodies are made from 100% recycled plastic.

  • Manufacturing Journey

A sharp increase in CO2 in the atmosphere is causing a warming of the planet and is the main cause of climate change.

  • Be part of the movement

Nearly 80% of the energy used and the CO2 footprint of laundry detergents are caused by the use phase, i.e. the actual washing process at home.
